Freeze drying is a process that removes all of the moisture from the bloom, allowing the bloom to maintain its shape and most of its original color. They are then sprayed with a protective sealer which will aid in keeping out future moisture and ultraviolet rays (both which can decrease their longevity). We recommend displaying them indoors and away from direct light for many years of enjoyment.
